Use the official website installation entry or its corresponding Chrome Web Store listing. Avoid unidentified packages or scripts claiming to unlock paid access.

Check the name and publisher. Inspect the installed version in Chrome. Extract manual packages and load the directory containing manifest.json. Avoid running duplicate copies during updates, and refresh the target page before testing.

For load errors, save the version and error message and consult Getting started. Do not disable every browser safeguard or share account cookies to make an installation work.

Check store and manual installations

The website’s backup download is a CRX file. Prefer the store installation. For a CRX, open chrome://extensions/, enable Developer mode, drag the file onto the page and follow Chrome’s confirmation prompts. If Chrome refuses it, use the store or contact support; do not rename a CRX to ZIP. Only use Load unpacked when you already have an extracted ZIP source package or developer directory containing manifest.json.

Verify after updating

  1. Retain the browser profile and installation directory instead of switching between duplicates.
  2. Reload the extension and refresh already-open target pages.
  3. Confirm login and region, then run a simple browsing workflow.
  4. Check stopping and logs before restoring complex settings.

Keep load-error text rather than clearing all browser data speculatively. Redact accounts and access parameters before sharing screenshots. Do not continue when the download source cannot be confirmed.
