Website or extension? Understand installation and runtime
Redaily

Updated
Redaily has a website and a browser extension. The website provides accounts, pricing and documentation; the desktop extension executes Xiaohongshu/Rednote page tasks. Opening the website does not start a cloud runner.
The website’s backup download is a CRX file. Prefer the store installation. For a CRX, open chrome://extensions/, enable Developer mode, drag the file onto the page and follow Chrome’s confirmation prompts. If Chrome refuses it, use the store or contact support; do not rename a CRX to ZIP. Only use Load unpacked when you already have an extracted ZIP source package or developer directory containing manifest.json.
Execution depends on the local computer. Sleep or browser closure affects it. Read permissions rather than interpreting web-based as requiring no installation, no access or exclusively local processing.
Website and extension have different roles
| Entry | Purpose | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| Product website | Documentation, account and subscription | Sign in and confirm your account |
| Chrome extension | Store and run website workflows | Enabled with a visible version in Chrome |
| Target website | Browsing and actual interactions | Works manually in the same browser |
Do not skip this installation check
Verify all three states. Product sign-in is not platform sign-in. Refresh the target page after loading a manual package, and check for duplicate enabled copies when updating.
The former no-installation and entirely-free claims were corrected. Free basic access still requires the extension for execution; local installation does not eliminate Pro or AI network requests.
Product reference
Product steps were checked against extension 3.5.3. See the related guide for instructions and pricing for access. Report behavior that differs through feedback, including the version and a redacted error.
