Before collecting profiles: purpose, filters and deletion

Traffic-interception tools usually mean tools for finding relevant discussions and participating in them. Operationally, finding posts, processing comments and researching authors are different tasks. Public profiles and comments are not consent to promotion. This guide explains three routes and when each workflow fits.
Define the collection purpose first
Write the research purpose, required fields and stopping conditions. For example, unresolved questions in rental-storage tutorials call for relevant discussions and a few public profiles to revisit, not a list labeling everyone as a customer. Follower counts, likes or a request for recommendations do not prove purchase intent.
Create a clearly named local group and decide which fields you do not need. Collection and automated replies require Pro. Basic browsing, likes, bookmarks and follows are separate capabilities. Sign in to Redaily and the target website and verify the region before starting.
Route 1: a known post, using Comment workflows
- Copy a complete post link that opens correctly, preserving required parameters.
- Create and name a Comment workflow. Add one post for an initial check.
- Enable collection, select the group and configure necessary text, time or other conditions.
- Distinguish all from any matching. To require both a storage keyword and a recent comment, choose all.
- Initially leave replies and follows disabled. Inspect collected targets before enabling additional actions.
Fixed follower ranges do not establish that a user is real. Check relevance to the research question and visible information instead of assigning quality from a numerical threshold.
Expected result: processing records appear in the log and matching public profiles enter the selected group. For no output, check Pro access, switches, filters, group choice and previously processed records. Saving is not the same as collecting.
Route 2: known authors, using Profile workflows
Profile workflows browse an author's own posts. They do not collect that author's entire follower list or provide a competitor-customer database.
- Add complete profile links or select/import from your existing user list.
- Open one profile manually and verify region, author and accessible posts.
- Set the number of posts to browse per profile. This defines task scope, not a platform requirement.
- Configure likes, bookmarks and follows separately; check Pro for automated comments or duration-based stopping.
- Save and run, observe the first profile, then verify visits and actions in the log.
For example, comparing two storage-tutorial authors could record step order, image purpose and reader questions. Do not copy their work or interpret a profile visit as conversion. Reduce failures to one link when a profile is unavailable or has no public posts.
Route 3: only a topic, using Explore search
- Use a concrete keyword such as rental wardrobe storage and inspect results manually.
- Create an Explore workflow and enable search. Add multiple terms if needed, checking each for relevance.
- Match the old/new filter version to the actual site, then choose sorting, post type, publication period or scope.
- For Explore comment-user collection, configure separate filters and a group. This is not collection of every search-result author.
- Start simple and add conditions gradually. For empty results, relax one restriction at a time.
A most-comments/recent/unseen combination can be one research choice, not a universally best setting. An extension cannot apply controls the website does not provide.
Connect the routes without duplicating work
| Available input | Workflow | Output to inspect |
|---|---|---|
| A specific post | Comment | Matched comments, actions and destination group |
| Author profile list | Profile | Authors/posts visited and completed actions |
| A topic | Explore | Search terms, filters and browse records |
Begin with the route matching your actual input. Do not send the same targets through all three just to complete a process diagram.
Export, evaluate and clean up
Check group membership and fields in Users. Export CSV/JSON and open the file to verify rows, encoding and profile links. List size is not incoming follows, messages or sales; those outcomes require their own evidence and cannot be calculated from execution counts.
Local records, downloaded files and published platform content have separate deletion scopes. Remove unnecessary research data when finished. Stop on verification, restrictions or errors. There is no universal safe frequency or profile-filter recipe guaranteeing follow-backs or conversions.
Product reference
Product steps were checked against extension 3.5.3. See the related guide for instructions and pricing for access. Report behavior that differs through feedback, including the version and a redacted error.
